ABOUT WASATCH CAMERATA

Wasatch Camerata is a chamber choir rooted in the Heber Valley, dedicated to bringing timeless choral music to life through intimate, thoughtfully crafted performances. Founded in 2022, we blend professional artistry with personal connection — offering concerts that resonate deeply, both musically and communally.

FOUNDING AND MISSION

Wasatch Camerata was founded in 2022 by a small group of Heber Valley musicians who shared a vision: to bring world-class choral music to the Wasatch Back in a way that feels both refined and personal. Inspired by the traditions of 18th-century European salons and chamber (“camerata”) gatherings, our concerts are designed to be intimate. We perform in resonant spaces where musicians and audience members share not just sound, but presence.

PERFORMANCE STYLE

Each of our programs is carefully curated around a central theme, with a repertoire that spans centuries, languages, and genres. From Baroque motets to Broadway melodies, from jazz standards to sacred works, we choose music that moves the heart. Some pieces are familiar; others are meant to surprise and invite discovery. All are chosen with care.

THE ENSEMBLE & COMMUNITY

Wasatch Camerata currently includes thirteen dedicated vocalists and accomplished pianists, all living and working in the Heber Valley. Our concerts often include guest instrumentalists, and every member contributes beyond the stage. We select and study our repertoire, plan seasons, secure venues, and invite the community to be part of something meaningful.

OUR PURPOSE

Wasatch Camerata believes in the power of choral music to uplift, inspire, and bring people together. Our concerts are freely offered, thoughtfully crafted, and created with the hope that each one leaves a lasting impression.

THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT OF WASATCH CAMERATA!

Wasatch Camerata is a nonprofit organization, sustained entirely by the passion and dedication of its members. Our singers take on every aspect of each concert—from securing venues and curating musical themes to rehearsing, marketing, and producing the performance experience.

If you’d like to support our mission to bring high-quality choral music to the Heber Valley, your contribution will help us continue making these moments of beauty and connection possible.
